The revised notification of NEET 2019 has now been issued. This examination will be conducted through pen paper based mode. National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET) is organized by the NTA (National Trial Agency) once in the National Year by the National Institution. This is the only national level medical entrance examination. It is organized to provide admission to MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses provided by all Indian Medical Colleges. In order to get admission in medical courses abroad, candidates will have to qualify for NEET UG exam. Here we are providing details about Neet 2019 Examination which includes application form, exam date, qualification, examination pattern, curriculum etc.




New Changes Introduced Last Year


  • On the proposal of the Union Health Ministry, MCI approved several changes in the NEET UG entrance examination. Below we have listed the new changes introduced last year:

  • Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have joined 15% all India quota schemes. Candidates of these states are no longer required to submit their own declaration form.
  • Aadhaar card is also not mandatory to fill the NEET application. However, candidates need any ID proof to apply for the examination.
  • Indian candidates who want to pursue MBBS / BDS in foreign nationals, have qualified for NEET UG test.
  • The effort limit has been removed from the previous year. Now, candidates can try NEET till age limit according to their categories.
  • NIOS or State Open School or private candidate is not eligible for the NEET exam.
  • There will be a set for the question paper in all languages.
  • According to officials, the examination will be bilingual (excluding the language chosen in English).
  • The NTA will set up 3,000 practice centers for NEET UG examination from August 2018. It will work on Saturday and Sunday and it will take about an hour for the candidates to practice.
  • From next year, NTA will start its teaching center for NEET candidates. They will not charge for coaching. It will start working from May 2019.

NEET 2019 Application Form


  • Candidates should fill the application form according to instructions given in the information bulletin. Below we are providing NET 2019 application details:

  • The application will be issued only through online mode.
  • No apps will be entertained through offline mode
  • NEET UG Registration will be started from 2019 Nov 1, 2018.
  • Candidates should upload scanned images of passport size photograph and signature recently.
  • After filling the application form fully, a confirmation page will be prepared. Download
  • The board will not need to send a printed confirmation page.

Application Fee:

  • Normal and OBC candidates will get Rs. 1400 / - as application fee.
  • Application Fee for Schedule Caste / Scheduled Tribes and PH Candidates Rs. 750 / -
  • Fees can be paid through credit / debit card, net banking, UPI and e-wallet.
  • Service tax will also be applicable.

NEET UG Application Correction:

  • Once the board will provide opportunity to improve the applications. Details about the NEET application correction are given below:

  • Improvements can only be made through online mode.
  • Correction facility will be provided in the month of December 2018.
  • Candidates will be informed through e-mail / SMS regarding improving the picture and signature. It will be available in the candidate's login account.
  • Candidates can also improve in certain areas such as:
  • Date of birth
  • Identity identification
  • Gender
  • State Code of Eligibility
  • category
  • Medium of examination paper
  • Disability Status
  • Examination center
  • Eligibility Test Code and Percentage (%) Qualification of marks obtained in Class XII

  • In the case of any additional fee, candidates can make payments through debit / credit card and net banking.

NEET UG Eligibility Criteria:


  • Students must check their qualifications before filling the application form. Candidates can examine detailed NEET 2019 qualification criteria from below:

  • Age Range:
  • Candidates must have completed 17 years of age.
  • Maximum age limit will be 25 years (SC / ST and 30 years for OBC).
  • the nationality:
  • Indian citizens, NRIs, Individuals of Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign Citizens of India (OCI) and foreign nationals are eligible to apply for NEET UG.
  • Candidates of Jammu and Kashmir State will be eligible to apply for 15% All India quota on the basis of self declaration.
  • Aadhar card order:
  • Application number for NEET exam is not mandatory.
  • Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya can apply by providing their passport number, ration card number, bank account number or any other valid government ID number.
  • NRI candidates can apply by Aadhar card number or passport number.
  • PIO, OCI and foreign citizen candidates can apply by passport number.
  • Eligibility:
  • Eligibility exam students should pass 10 + 2 or equivalent examination.
  • Displaying candidates is also eligible for qualified students appearing in the qualifying examination.
  • In the subject qualification examination, students should be physics, chemistry, biology / biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject.
  • Percentage norms minimum 50% marks for general, 45% for pH and 40% marks for SC / ST candidates in PCB group.

      NEET 201 9 Examination Pattern

        Below we are providing details about NEET 2019 Exam pattern:

        • Date of Examination: Examination will be conducted on May 5, 2019.
        • Method of examination: Examination will be conducted through pen and paper based (offline) mode.
        • Type of questions: There will be objective types of questions in the examination.
        • Duration: The examination period will be of three hours.
        • Number of Questions: A total of 180 questions will be asked.
        • Language: Questions will be asked in Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu and Kanada languages.
        • Marked scheme: For every correct answer, four points will be given.
        • Negative Marking: For each wrong answer, a score will be deducted.
