WBJEE 2018 Summary

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). The board was established in 1962 primarily to conduct Common Entrance Examinations for Undergraduate Level Engineering Courses in West Bengal.

It is basically a Exam conducted by West Bengal Govt for the selection of candidates in there Govt NIT Or IIT seats.It is very good exam in respect to the level of competition.Around 1 to 2 lacks candidates appear in it every year so it is not so easy to crack.

Many of my friends have been asking about WB-JEE 2018. So,finally i think i have to write a brief article on it with all the information and stuff.Today we are just try to clear all the major doubts about WB-JEE 2108, i hope we bring all the important information up but even though there is any doubts in your mind please clear it with us by replying below in the comment.

The application form is categorised into two sections which are:

• Personal details
• Fee payment details

• Nationality- Candidate must be Indian.
•Age limit- The lower age limit is 17yrs as on 31st December 2018.
There is no upper age limit.
[Note-In the case of Marine Engineering the lower Age limit is 17yrs while Upper is 25yrs as on December 31st 2017] 
 Educational Qualification 1.For Engineering Candidate who Complete Both papers.
◇They must passed 10+2 with Physics+Chemistry+ Mathematics and English with any others Optional subject. In these main 3 subject they must scored 45%
[40% for reserved candidates]and In Eng 30% marks need to obtained in Board exam of 10+2. 2.For Pharmacy Candidate Who Complete Only 2nd paper.
◆They must passed 10+2 with Physics+Chemistry+Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology/Computer Science as compulsory subject.
All others are like Engineering candidates. Residential and Domicile Criteria For WB-JEE 2018. #Only For Reserved Seats And Even to Get TFW they need Domicile has to be shown. Now the relatable question that need to know for how can anyone being elligble for Domicile criteria. Well,these are as follows:
● Candidate should be a resident of West-Bengal for a minimum of 10yrs as on December 31st 2017. ● Other is that one whose prents are residents of West-Bengal and have a permanent addres of state./p

• Passport size photo
• Regestration Fee-:500/candidate

Last Date For Filling- 19th January 2018.
Last Date For Downloading Confirmation Page- 24th January 2018.
Date For Correction By Candidate- 26th to 28th January 2018.
Admit Card Download Date- 10th April 2018.

Provisnal Answer Key Release Date- May 2018.

WB-JEE 2018 APPLICATION FORM and IMPORTANT PROCEDURE:

:-No significant changes have been done for 2018.
:-Mode Of Examination is Offline i.e, By pen and paper work.
:-There is 2 paper given to the candidate in which papaer 1-include only Mathematics while paper 2 include Physics+Chemistry.
[Note-Attempting both paper get you for Enginnering admission qualifieng while only 2nd papaer get you admission for Pharmacy.]

Application FormThis is a slightly differ from JEE here students have to register on official website of WB-JEE i.e, www.wbjeeb
nic.in. The Candidate need thier e-mail id and phone no to register and after that Board will communicate through these only. To register you need these following detais to fill up:

• Name.
• Fathers Name
• Mothers Name
• Gender.
• DOB.

Warning→Here be carefull because you once fill up the details then there is no way to change them.
Appliation Fee- Candidate have to pay Rs.500/- for each candidate.
Way Of Payment:
For online- Via Net banking,Debit Or Credit card and also through Paytm.
For Offline- Need e-challan of Allahabad bank.

WB-JEE SYLLABUS
■Mainly based on taught chapter of 11th and 12th of PCM for enginnering students and PCB for pharmacy students.
